Greetings from Weija Leprosarium We wish to thank all friends and loved ones of Baby Priscilla for observing yesterday the 5th of May,2023 as a day of Prayer for our dear Priscilla. She urgently needs further surgery on her amputated leg where the infection is still spreading…We are forever grateful for taking time off your busy schedule to say a prayer for our dear Priscilla..God bless you and also let’s continue to pray for her for a complete healing of leg as she goes to the hospital next week. Mr. John Ampah is a 68 year old artist and a cured leper who lives at the Weija leprosarium. He hails from Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana and moved to the Leprosarium November 23, 2012. He has three children he takes care of through the sales of his artwork. The first child is in the university pursuing Information Technology (IT); the second has just completed high school and hoping to pursue Visual Arts in the University; she is currently helping her father out and waiting to save some funds to enable her make it to the university. Mr. Ampah’s third child is in High School. As you listen to his voice through the video and enjoy his artwork, remember he has leprosy but doing the best through his artwork to be a productive citizen.
